The Kids are Not All Right: Will I Burn for This?

I called out my Dad’s church on social media. This is what happened.

I’m a preacher’s kid… and I have a theory that being a preacher’s kid can mess kids up.

For this piece, I know I said I wanted to hear from other PKs and MKs, but I just couldn't help myself from sharing a little more of my story and why I did what I did.

Let me start by mentioning this: I’m very opposed to mission trips. The events mentioned here happened more than a year ago, but it's still a sore spot. I’m going to try to be as generous as possible, but I didn’t back down from what I believed then, and I won’t back down now. I wrote the following post and tagged my dad’s church on August 1, 2020.
